Many Christian churches follow similar theologies. We believe in a Triune God: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus came so that we could have eternal life (John 3:16) and the only way to the Father is through Jesus (John 14:6) because we fall short if left to our own devices.
However, how we go about sharing those truths are as numerous as the stars in the sky. At New life, we believe that everyone should feel comfortable walking into a Sunday morning service, we specifically programs these services so that the Disillusioned, Disappointed, Discouraged and Disgruntled can feel comfortable enough to relax a little and hear about God’s grace and mercy, neither of which we deserve, but He pours on us so generously. When walls of doubt, bitterness, anger, shame, condemnation and judgment are surrounding us, it’s impossible to hear what God has to say to us. We fail to hear him call us His beloved.
At New Life, one thing is for sure. We believe in the Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness of the Cross, and we make every attempt to reflect that unconditional love from God toward each other in our adult, student and children’s ministries.
Small group sessions are where we really dig deeper into the Word, and discover how it applies to our lives, today. These groups, whether curriculum-based or task-based, are where strong friendships are formed and where life change occurs.
